Greetings to all of you kind colourful souls across the world!
My name is Miah – hence the usage of the ‘mysterious yellow’ that conceals the flowers of the mimosa plant (as well as the name I am known to be called). I am a twenty-something-year-old university student from Finland. Although I have already given five years of my time on Earth to the academics (and learnt the important skills of independent and critical thinking), my true calling is to help others trough activism, writing and journalism of some sort.
This blog is meant as an inter-artistic platform for the poetry and travel journalism I am passionate in creating on a daily basis. For me, an adventure doesn’t necessarily have to take place far away from home. The best stories are often experienced spontaneously when you least expect something to happen. This blog is meant as a platform of sharing the small meaningful things I encounter in my daily life; a kind act of a stranger, a beautiful sunrise, a new vegan recipe, awesome second-hand find, successful trip to a new place… Hopefully in time we could all come together as a community to share and discuss our daily adventures!
Welcome to follow my journey as a free nomadic soul as I travel and create content all over the Northern Europe. As a permanent travel companion I will have my adopted rescue-dog named Lucy.
